Swanson CoQ10 400mg 30 Softgels

I was shocked at how big these are when I first saw them so I took a photograph so that you can see how big they are; they actually look bigger in real life than they do in the photograph. They are soft gel capsules so I didn't find them difficult to swallow at all and I do tend to struggle with large chalky type tablets as I find they get stuck on the back of my tongue. These are the highest strength of the Swanson CoQ10 range that I could see, so I thought that they would be the best ones to try. There are 30 soft gels in the tub so at one a day they will last a month, which I find quite expensive. I think that they are a considered purchase at the price of 23.61 at the time of writing this review for a month's supply but if they work for you then it isn't out of the question, and like I say, they are the strongest I could see in their range of CoQ10 so I'm expecting good results. I want them because I have high blood pressure and they are supposed to be good for lowering it. I take 2 prescription meds daily for my BP and it is still too high so hopefully these will help. The doctor's receptionist never allows me to make an appointment with my doctor for my BP review, it always has to be with the nurse, who then freaks out and says I have to see the doctor. Hopefully that won't happen next time, I'll update when next I go. I'm overdue for my review but I don't want to go during lockdown, so who knows how long it will take.

It was offered for test, but even if it wasn't the case, I'd have bought it as the price is really, really good. Moreover, it's not my first experience with Swanson, I take its biotin daily and quite happy with the product. I share the bottle with my hubby, so we both tried it. My hubby complained that the size of the softgels is just too big to allow comfortable swallowing. Actually, when he took it for the first time, he couldn't swallow it at all and needed to bite off the half... It was not a good idea as it had some liquid inside! My husband said the taste of the liquid wasn't unpleasant, though. As for me, yes, it is quite big and a bit uncomfortable, however, I take it with the good amount of water, so no problem at all. I'll update later with the photo of the CoQ10 softgel and Biotin capsule I take, just to show size in comparison. This is very early to say something about definite health benefits. However, I noticed less "jumping" in blood pressure in the last days. Already good. I'll continue taking it and will consider subscribing (if it is possible for this exact product) as this is the best price I've seen so far.
