Over time, I have ordered many Osavi products, and I have always been delighted with their high quality and precious ingredients. This patented, proprietary blend of Collagen Fortibone makes no exception. I work out daily and supplement with collagen as capsules but also as a powder which I mix with my protein shake powder post-training. Nonetheless, that powder provides me with 11.5 gr of protein per serving, adding to the protein intake necessary for muscle recovery. The Osavi collagen powder delivers 2.9 gr per serving, and I take it in the morning with my daily porridge. This product targets joint and bone health and density and contains a form of peptides called Fortibone and added rosehip extract. Rosehip is a brilliant anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing agent that I love using as part of my skincare routine. I ordered this supplement because I have been experiencing knee pain and clicking while exercising. While I purchased curcumin to help with the inflammatory response, I thought it was time to start strengthening my joints and bones. This collagen powder is meant to help with bone density and reverse collagen degradation due to ageing. This powder is hydrolysed, meaning it is highly absorbable, and because it has virtually no taste or smell, it is easy to add to a drink or porridge. The measuring scoop is buried inside the tub. Moreover, it dissolves easily in any beverage. I must warn you, though, to add the drink over the powder, so it does not clump. I need to mention that this product is NOT suitable for vegans or vegetarians because the four types of collagens provided are of bovine provenience; hence, from cows. It is recommended to take one scoop daily, making the tub last for a month. I am delighted with all products from Osavi, and of course, with this collagen because I trust the manufacturer due to previous positive experiences. I was even thinking of buying my mum a tub, as she is very active and works out thrice weekly. I will continue supplementing with this powder because I already feel it is working, and my knee pain and clicking are receding now. More so, I know that my body is receiving all it needs for general health and well-being as I am approaching 40.

When taken in combination with msm, and protein powder and chia seeds it helps soften skin and reduce inflammation in my neck and shoulders, making it easier to fall asleep. It dissolves best in warm lemon water. The flavour is less pungent than my previous brand. Whilst it's significantly cheaper than my fav brand at only 0.51 per day. My skin didn't feel as soft s I'm used to with my go to brand. I also broke out a couple of times, and I didn't heal as quickly as I usually do at that time of the month. So it works, I like it but I won't be repurchasing. As I've tried other brands that provide consistent great results I'm going for.

Easy enough to add to a glass of water. Pretty tasteless and dissolved well. Might be too early to tell if there's been any real benefits from it.

I have tried a number of collagen supplements in a variety of formats: capsules, powder, liquid. Whereas many people use collagen supplements to aid the health of their skin and hair, etc., my primary motivation is to aid joint health. This powder format is ideal for anyone who has issues with (or simply doesn't like) taking more conventional capsules. The powder is odourless, fine and mixes well with my daily shake, which makes it very convenient to use. The tub contains 30x5g doses, so at the current price of 15.38 that works out at about 51p per day. This is certainly much cheaper than the liquid collagen products I have tried, which have tended to come in at around the 1.00 - 1.10 per day mark. Although it can be subjective, I have been impressed with this product. It is convenient to use and far better value than the liquid alternatives I have come across so far. So, if you are in the market for a quality collagen supplement, you could certainly do far worse than to give this one a try. I hope you find these comments helpful.
