dare. Motivational Shake 750g Cocoa & Jaffa Orange

I tried this once with milk and then decided it could do so much more. The only limits are the limits of your imagination. Personally I have a sweet tooth so I make Dare mixes with vegan yogurts and vegan cream. Both are delicious. Blending is done easily with a spoon or whisk. I have even made a Dare cheesecake using just vegan soft cheese and vanilla Dare. It mixes in with ingredients in a similar way to flour or cocoa and is a great way to get nutrients into fussy eaters or people on restricted diets. The kids will never know!!

I've tried lots of protein powders, not really for fitness, mainly because I go through phases of not eating very well so I like to look for protein drink with lots of vitamins and minerals. Just had this and it's delicious! No artificial flavour, cocoa and peanut tastes so smooth and more like roasted nut after taste. Will definitely be rebuying this

The chocolate is bad and the cherry flavour does not taste natural to me and overly sweet. Like bad cake icing or cupcake. I have also tried the Peanut choc and vanilla frosting flavours but had to throw them away due to the awful smell and taste. The packaging is great and the shake mixes well with almost no clumps. Just not the flavours for me. Artificial and disgusting

Edit: After seeing my review below the owner of Dare was kind enough to reach out to me and send me the other flavours to try along with some other goodies, so I just want to start off by saying thank you for that. Not only for the gifts, but the kind chat whilst I was busy with uni studies and for your patience waiting for an amended review whilst I've been sick. I was happy to give the products another go as I love that the brand's story. This product was made by a NHS doctor in response to not being able to make a meal during the busy Covid period. I tried the Peanut Butter and Vanilla Frosting flavours. First, the peanut butter flavour has a lovely strong flavour of roasted peanuts, due to this being the most dominant powder in the mix. The chocolate is lovely, not sweet for the health conscious. I prefer to add a bit of sweetness to the drink as it seems weird drinking a non sweet chocolate shake, and I'm a sweet tooth. The vanilla frosting flavour is great too, I think I prefer this flavour more, can't go wrong with chocolate and vanilla frosting. I used the dare shaker bottle the first time around which was good at mixing it up without lumps. I'm hesitant to say the shake is smooth though, even when using a blender to make the shakes it is a bit gritty but that's to be expected from most protein shakes. Previous review: Wish I had seen the previous review about the artificial cherry taste before purchasing. Was really excited to try this as I love Black Forest gateau and wanted to try these shakes for the health benefits. Unfortunately the taste is more like chocolate with a bit of cherry, as the other reviewer stated the chocolate part is actually nice but the cherry made it undrinkable for me. Wish I had gone for the vanilla flavour as that probably would have been nicer.

really tasty, natural tasting cocoa with a hint of vanilla. it tastes like a good quality, thick shake! definitely not a super-sweet, cloying shake flavour however i already have another basic protein shake powder when i fancy an extra sweet one. i like the fact that one serving is 200 calories which is quite low when you consider the amount of protein. this one feels more filling and substantial than my basic protein shake and i am really enjoying the protein boost alongside my usual food intake.
