Jarrow Formulas MCT Oil, 1000mg - 180 softgels

Jarrow supplementarion is usually my go-to vitamins, and I trust them. I got these pills because this oil is necessary when you're trying to lose weight. I got it especially for my stomach fat. And also it helps curb appetites and helps you have more energy. I have been taking it for a few days now. Haven't really felt anything; hard to really feel anything with vitamins in general. But psychologically, and knowing that it is supposed to do what it claims to do, helps me move forward with my diet. And the weight is coming off somewhat, with proper exercise. They're pretty easy to swallow and I take them on an empty stomach, usually.

If you don't want to bulletproof your coffee, then this is another way to get MCT oil. Reviews are mixed regarding exactly how effective it is, but if you're looking for an easy to take softgel, then look no further. I've come to trust the Jarrow Formulas brand after years of using their products and see no reason not to think this is quality MCT oil supplement. I also consume coconut oil regularly, but will have added this to my repertoire. As someone who is recovering from SSRI damage, this stuff gives me some relief.

I have been taking MCT in an powdered form that was just super hard to drink down... I am so excited that this comes in a pill form! I usually take MCT in the morning to give me a boost to wake up from my zombie state... My husband and I are consistently on the go, have 2 children, and by the end of our days we collapse into a 5 hour coma and it starts all over again- needless to say, we are not getting nearly enough sleep. I noticed that MCT helps me wake up better than coffee does... I am unsure about weight loss benefits since I have not experienced that yet... perhaps, with a proper nights rest, weight loss may happen.

Normally when I review supplements, it's hard to tell if they work because I've not taken them for several months to see a result. I therefore review them on the basis of they don't have any side effects when I take them and the ingredient list is not toxic. That said I've been taking this for a few weeks and as a shut in for the current bad weather, I've not been getting a lot of exercise and most of the time feel kinda blah. These seem to help with that, I've felt motivated to do laundry, and sort and shred tons of old bills and such that accumulate when I'm on a contract assignment. I feel lighter walking around even when I've been sitting too long. My arthritic knee seems better too, although that could be the joint juice and other supplement I take for that. I don't find any bad ingredients and like I said before no side effects except maybe a hunger reducer. I've had to give away some of my holiday pies and Christmas cookies because I did not feel like eating them, I've gone more with pot roast, ground beef dishes, and my slow cooked ham. I couldn't even finish a plate of spaghetti, even though it was perfectly cooked with a nice marinara sauce. I had to toss half of it in the trash. I've lost most of the holiday weight, I gained around Thanksgiving and have no desire to over indulge. Which is a good thing because when I'm between assignments I tend to gain weight, especially in the winter. I like this formula, I can't say it increases my brain power, I've no test for that but it does make me feel better and not overeat as much. Recommended.
