Warrior Protein Cookies 12 x 60g

This cookie is a difficult eat. The texture is very dry, I feel like any moisture from my pith is absorbed by it instantly, which makes it an unpleasant experience. The taste however is a nice raspberry flavour, but it’s not enough to get through eating a whole biscuit.

The Warrior Protein Cookies are individually wrapped raspberry and white chocolate baked cookie snacks that contain 15g of Protein and have pretty Low Sugar and certainly work for a gym snack but are never going to come out too when compared to proper cookies. Their taste profile is ok but it definitely feels more protein-y than cookie flavour, which should make sense for those into their workout snacks! They do get the protein in and I’d find them better than most protein shakes in my personal opinion but that isn’t unfortunately saying too much. Overall they’re not massively disappointing but equally aren’t the best gym \ work out snacks either. If you’re looking for some protein cookies they are worth giving a go though.

This review is for the 12 pack of Warrior Protein Cookies each 60g and individually wrapped with 15g protein and are low sugar and vegetarian friendly with a salted caramel flavour. When these first arrived I was surprised how big the cookie is and the packaging all looked good and I was looking forward to tasting these. Once I had tasted them.... well it was a major disappointment, these cookies are VERY dry which I found hard to chew and get rid of, there was almost no flavour to them and tasted like they had been sat out on the worktop for a week. These are currently £17.88 and I honestly think that these are not worth the money, awful cookies that I would not recommend, save your money and buy something else. Very disappointed.

I didn’t find these appealing in any way whatsoever. They have a texture that I can only liken to what I imagine it might be like to eat carpet underlay and the cookie disintegrates into moist crumbs with no crunch or chewiness along the way. Those tasteless fragments have no identifiable flavour aside from small pieces of what I assume are white chocolate and raspberry but which have very little taste to speak of; there is no sharpness that I would associate with eating raspberry at all. I wouldn’t get these again.

I love these! My husband isn't a fan but I'd eat them non-stop if I could get away with it. My hasband says they have a texture and aftertaste of protein that he's not keen on but those are the very reasons I lap these things up. I love snacks and shakes all the more if they actually taste like protein. I especially like it if they're grainy and claggy. These are not as moist as I'd like but I'll still consider getting more when these run out (probably already have by the time to read this).
